Autobiography in Five Short Chapters Artist Book

My brother recently moved out for a job in Cambridge, for a going away present I made him a hardcover book with one of my favorite stories. I did so by making marbled paper, citrasolv transferring the text, and using a pamphlet style bind. Here is a picture of each page going. I apologize for the poor quality photos.

Look Beyond Society's Expectations of Beauty

Digital mock up of a 24"x 36" analog poster.
The two wolves in the poster are Maned Wolves. They have extremely long legs which help them see above tall grass to hunt. In this poster the grass is society's unrealistic beauty expectations.
I am going to go back and edit this poster, clean up the ribbon, and change up the ears.

Photo Collage

A photo collage I put together. Probably one of my favorite ones I have made so far. For my printmaking class our final is to make three editions of a book. This is one page that will be in the book. I plan to citrasolv this onto paper and silkscreen over it.

Trial Silk Screens

Here are some silk screens I've been working on. Done in two layers. These are the first silk screens I have ever made. They are not the best, but I see where I went wrong. Next go around I plan to approach the layering process differently. These are too flat and quite frankly very awkward. For the most part these were just for fun and I mainly was experimenting with the material, process, and different acrylic inks.
